About Dearest Amsterdam

Hi, I'm Emma.

My love for making things started when I was little, learning how to sew with my grandma. She taught me that the best things are made slowly, with care (and a little patience).

While I was studying, I kept looking for clothing, bags, and accessories that felt unique, timeless, and practical, but I could never find exactly what I wanted. So I decided to make my own.

What started as a small creative project grew into Dearest Amsterdam, a brand where I create handmade bags designed to be used and loved every day.

Why Dearest Amsterdam?

Amsterdam is the city I live in and the place that inspires me every day.

The word Dearest comes from the beginning of a love letter. To me, this brand is a little love letter to Amsterdam, the city that inspired me to start creating and turn my passion into something I could share.
